The Army ROTC Learning Community’s primary focus will be on leadership and citizenship. To qualify for the Learning Community students should either be actively enrolled in Army ROTC at Bloomsburg University or be interested in Army leadership. Students will need to be approved by the Military Science Department at Bloomsburg. To be approved the student should show in writing their connection with ROTC past or present and their desire to learn more about the military leadership style. All students currently serving or Veterans will also be given priority behind ROTC Cadets if they desire a spot in the Learning Community.
We are looking to create an atmosphere where students can benefit from living with others who share their desire to serve and lead. Students will conduct 10 hours of documented community or volunteer service per semester and meet monthly with the ROTC Advisor. Any student that is not a member of the ROTC program can coordinate with Cadre to sit in on ROTC local events or classes.
